Projects in our target markets

Fraunhofer LBF reaches different markets through ist specific portfolio of skills and services. Customers come mainly from the vehicle and machine construction segments and from the Cchemical industry. Vibration technology

Vibrations and noise can have adverse health effects on humans and the environment.

Lightweight design

Lightweight design is an important approach to reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emission in vehicles and transport systems during the use phase.

Reliability

The reliability of techrncal products and systems is not directly measurable. lt is not possible to completely rule out the failure of a component or a system.

Polymer technology

Customized plastics help to meet the global challenges in mobihty, communication, health, nutrition, climate protection and safety.
